School Meals, Snack and Milk
Mrs McCluskey, our School Catering Manager, has worked at All Saints’ for over 20 years. She and her team provide in-house school meals at All Saints’. Meals are freshly prepared on site using locally sourced produce. Children have a big say about food in school via the elected food council members who keep Mrs McCluskey on her toes!
Snack
Morning snack is available for all children at playtime. Children are offered a selection of hot and cold snacks, fresh fruit and drinks. Snacks are typically as follows:

Support with the cost of school meals
Children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 receive meals paid for by the school (known as Universal Infant Free School Meals). Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 pay school meals. The current cost is £2.40 per day.
In addition to Universal Infant Free School Meals, families who are on a low income may also qualify for financial support through Pupil Premium Funding.
Support with the cost of school meals is available for families who meet the following criteria:
- Income Support
- Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
- Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
- Child Tax Credit with an annual income of less than £16,190, provided they are not receiving Working Tax Credit
- the ‘Guaranteed’ element of the State Pension Credit
- Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
- Universal Credit with an annual net earned income threshold of less than £7,400

Would you like your child to receive milk at school?
Cool Milk provides school milk at All Saints’. Milk for the under-fives is free but parents should still register for their child to receive milk by clicking the link below.
The process of ordering and paying for your child’s milk is quick and easy and you can pay for each term (3 times a year) or for the full academic year.

If you choose to opt into this scheme, your child will receive a carton of fresh chilled semi-skimmed milk each school day, to drink mid-morning.

Please note that you should only register if you pay for your child’s milk, if you are in receipt of benefits which qualify your child for Free School Meals, please speak to the school office as milk may be free.
