What is a Parent Teacher Association (PTA)?

A PTA is a group of volunteer parents who work together to make their school a better environment for children to learn. They raise extra funds through a wide range of fun and creative initiatives, events, and much, much more. Money raised is usually spent on things that the school budget does not cover.

We are delighted to have been voted as your new PTA and can’t wait to share our ideas with you.  To confirm, we are:

As well as participating in events that we organise, there are some really easy ways which you can help us raise funds for the school:

Our PTA is registered with Easyfundraising which means 8,000 retailers will donate money to us for FREE every time you use Easyfundraising to shop with them.  These donations will help so much and it is completely free to sign up.

  1. Stamptastic: https://stamptastic.co.uk/

Personalised name stamps for labelling clothes. They sell personalised name stamps, ink pads, white fabric pens etc. When you place an order using our PTA Code (LS299BE), the PTA earns a 15% commission on the entire order.

3.   Making uniform affordable

We also have some pre-loved uniform available for a small donation. We intend to sell uniform at Parents Evening but to request specific items of uniform at any time of year, please visit the uniform page under the ‘Virtual Office’ tab. The PTA will try to match the stock we have in school with the items you need and text you when the items are ready for you to collect from the school office. 

If you have uniform that your child no longer needs we are happy to receive it in good condition, we ask that you kindly wash it before donating – please contact the PTA to organise.
