Our Governing Body
Interim Chair and Parent Governor Mrs Caroline Falconer | Both of my children attend All Saints’, and I was thrilled to join the Governing Board in 2020 to positively contribute to the school life of my children and the broader community. As a Clinical Psychologist specialising in child and adolescent mental health and neurodevelopmental differences, I am passionate about supporting children’s emotional well-being and development. I’ve taken on various roles within the All Saints’ governing body, including Safeguarding Governor, SEND Governor, and Vice-Chair, and had the privilege of supporting the school during its most recent Ofsted inspection. I look forward to continuing to use my experience to help the school achieve its goals, uphold its high standards, and thrive. |
Parent Governor Mr Andrew Marshall | A clear vision and ethos are fundamental to our school’s success. These guide decisions, shape the school’s culture, and set the course for our children’s educational journey. As a Governor at All Saints’ Primary School, I will work collaboratively with the school community to define and maintain this vision, ensuring it aligns with our shared values. As well as being the parent of a child at All Saints’, my experience as a curriculum leader at Ilkley Grammar School allows me to support the Headteacher and the teaching staff in their pursuit of high educational standards and outcomes. |
Foundation Governor Reverend Mike Coe | I’ve been the Vicar at All Saints Church since September 2018, having been a Vicar in East Sussex for 15 years previous to that. Before being ordained I worked as a sales and marketing manager, a Christian youth worker, an itinerant evangelist and a part-time Bible college lecturer. In my last post I was on the Governing Body of our large Church of England Primary School (chairing it for 3 years), and I was also a Director of the Diocese of Chichester Academy Trust (DCAT) I see the partnership between the Church & the school as vitally important, both in terms helping every pupil reach their full potential, and in seeing the Christian ethos of the school improving in its relevance and application for every part of the school community.. |
Foundation Governor Mrs Judith Osborne | I am married with 4 children, all of whom attended All Saints’ Primary School from Reception to Year 6. I am a fully qualified primary and secondary school teacher, specialising in Modern Languages. I have been an active member of All Saints’ Church since 1999 and have a particular passion for overseas mission and fairtrade. As a Foundation Governor, I hope to serve the pupils and staff, helping to steer the strategic direction of the school, underpinned by its Christian ethos. |
Staff Governor Mrs Stacey Simmonds | I have been working as a teacher for 12 years covering a range of settings and have worked at All Saint’s C of E for 9 years. I have always enjoyed working with children and watching their curiosity and excitement flourish. Since working at All Saints’, I have been leading R.E. and have supported the school through two SIAMs Inspections and curriculum changes. Being a Mum to two young children, we enjoy spending family time out and about in the fresh air walking and exploring the area where we live. Taking on the role of Staff Governor, is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the School and help it to continue providing the best possible education for each child, looking ahead to the challenges and opportunities in the future. |
Local Authority Governor Mr Alan Jarvis | I was privileged to be asked to join All Saints’ Governing Board in March 2023. As a qualified accountant I spent my whole working career in education finance, supporting and challenging schools in using their resources to maximise educational outcomes for pupils. Immediately prior to retiring, I was Head of School Funding with Bradford Council and since then I have continued my interest in education by serving on a number of governing bodies within the Bradford District. I am passionate about providing all pupils with access to a curriculum which is delivered by outstanding teaching within an inclusive environment which enables every learner to develop their full potential. And learning should be fun! I have a number of voluntary roles in the church which I attend, and I am a trustee on a couple of Charity Boards. In any remaining spare time, I enjoy fell walking and gardening. |
Co-opted Governor Mr Matt Fitzpatrick | I have spent the last 20 years in education. Following a period as Head of History and Politics in a large secondary school and sixth form college, I took up the role of deputy head in a secondary school in central Bradford. In 2016, I crossed phases to become a deputy head in a primary school in south Leeds, soon becoming the headteacher. This move emphasised the crucial platform that primary schools provide for young learners as they begin their education journey. After several very fulfilling years at the school, I recently left to become an educational consultant, working in schools across the region and beyond. I live in Ilkley and I am the father of two boys who both attend school in the town. I am delighted to be part of the All Saints’ Governing Body as the school plays a very important role in the local community. |
