Year 5 Visit: St George’s Hall, Bradford for the Big Sing! – Monday 21st October

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have arranged for the children in Year 5 to participate in The Big Sing at St George’s Hall on Monday 21st October. This is a fantastic event which really enhances the children’s musical learning.

We will be travelling to and from St George’s Hall by coach and will be leaving school at 8.30am and returning just after lunchtime.

The children should come to school wearing their normal school uniform, sensible shoes/trainers and a waterproof coat. Please could they also bring a small backpack and a water bottle.

The kitchen staff will provide a packed lunch for those children who have have school meals. If your child usually brings a packed lunch to school, please send them with one as normal. Please could we politely ask that you do not include products containing nuts or fizzy drinks.

The children will not need any spending money for the visit.

Please can we ask that you give your consent for to attend the visit via Arbor/Trips/Y5 The Big Sing.

In keeping with the Governing Body’s policy regarding Charges for School Activities, you are invited to make a voluntary contribution of £7.00 towards the cost of transport. Please be aware that if insufficient donations are received, the visit may not go ahead.

We will need four adult volunteers to help us on this visit. If you are able to offer your support, please contact the school office.
