Y3 Visit Copthorne Primary
July 2 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
This year we have been taking part in a programme called ‘Linking Schools’, which aims to promote integration and cohesion by facilitating social mixing between pupils in schools within different areas. In April, our ‘linking school’ – Copthorne Primary School – came to visit us for a whole day, where the children got to meet each other and play lots of games. On Tuesday 2nd July, we have the opportunity to take year 3 to visit Copthorne Primary school.
We will be travelling to and from Copthorne Primary School by coach and will be departing and returning within normal school hours.
Children should come to school in their school jumper or cardigan. They will need sensible shoes or trainers, a small backpack, and a warm waterproof coat, as we may be outside for most of the visit.
With weather changing at this time of year, we advise your child to also come prepared for warm weather with a water bottle, sun hat and where possible, sun lotion which they could apply themselves.
Packed lunches will be provided for all children who have school meals. Those children who are signed up for tuck, will also be provided with a snack for the morning while we are there. If your child is not signed up for tuck, we will ensure there are fruit options available.
Please can we ask that you give your consent for your child to attend the visit via the relevant Arbor/Trips/Y3 Copthorne Primary.
Please note that the PTA have kindly agreed to cover the cost of the coach hire for this visit. As a result, we do not need to request a voluntary contribution from parents.
We are extremely excited to be taking part again in the Linking School programme, and look forward to both schools meeting again.
