School Council visit to Ilkley Town Council offices
On Wednesday the 5th of June members of the School Council visited Ilkley Town council offices to meet the Deputy Mayor and town councillors, alongside school councillors from another local school. They held a formal school council meeting in the Town Hall chambers following the etiquette used by the town council. The children also took part in an interactive quiz, where they discovered some of the history of the building and local democracy.
